A Day in the Life: Climbing Ladders and Building Dreams at CML Roofing

Rise and Shine: The Early Bird Gets the Shingle

As the sun peeks over the horizon, I’m already up and at ’em. Working for CML Roofing and Contracting means early mornings and busy days, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. After a quick breakfast and some strong coffee, I’m out the door by 6:30 AM, ready to tackle whatever challenges the day might bring.

First Stop: The Job Site

Today’s agenda includes a roof replacement for a charming colonial home. As I arrive on site, I’m greeted by the familiar faces of my crew. We quickly go over the day’s plan:

  • Remove old shingles
  • Inspect and repair underlying structure
  • Install new underlayment
  • Apply new shingles
  • Clean up and final inspection

Mid-Morning: Windows of Opportunity

While the roofing team continues their work, I head off to meet a client about a window replacement project. At CML, we’re not just about roofs – we offer a full range of exterior services. I discuss various window styles, energy efficiency options, and installation processes with the homeowner.

Lunch Break: Refueling for the Afternoon Push

A quick sandwich and some hydration later, I’m back on the move. This time, I’m heading to a supplier to pick up some custom doors for an upcoming project. It’s always exciting to see the unique designs our clients choose.

Afternoon: Back on the Roof

Returning to our morning job site, I’m pleased to see significant progress. The new shingles are going on smoothly, and the homeowner seems thrilled with the color choice. I lend a hand for the final stretch, enjoying the physical work and the satisfaction of seeing a project come together.

Wrapping Up: The Devil’s in the Details

As the day winds down, it’s all about ensuring everything is perfect. We meticulously clean the area, double-check our work, and go over the final details with the homeowner. Their smile of approval makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Evening Reflection: More Than Just a Job

Driving home, I can’t help but feel a sense of pride. At CML Roofing and Contracting, we’re not just fixing houses – we’re improving homes and building trust with our community. It’s a demanding job, but the satisfaction of a job well done makes every early morning and long day worth it.

As I pull into my driveway, I’m already looking forward to tomorrow’s adventures in roofing, windows, doors, and more. After all, that’s the CML way.
